Day 1: Ashgabat
You will be met you at the airport and drive to a hotel. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi
In the morning you will have a local flight to Turkmenbashi. On arrival we will drive to the Yangykala canyon. It will take 170 km and 3 hours to drive. The word Yangykala means "fire fortresses" from Turkmen. You will observe perfect sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, stamped by winds and rains, are very comparable to the stone castles from a fantasy. We will drive back to the Turkmenbashi city. Night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Turkmenbashi - Mary
Morning flight to Ashgabat. The tour will be continued driving to the Gokdepe village. We will visit horse farm and see the pride of Turkmen people - Ahalteke horses. You will see their skills in riding. In the end of day, we will visit Abiverd fortress. The ancient settlement Abiverd is one of eight historical assets of Turkmenistan along with Kunya Urgench, Nisa, Merv, Dehistan. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Mary - Merv - Mary
We will travel to ancient Merv. The city was found in Avestian notes of the 8th -6th centuries B.C. Chroniclers made widespread use of bright epithets, naming it "the soul of the king, the mother of the cities of Khorasan and the city in which the universe is situated. In past times, Omar Khayyam liver over there as well as As Samani, Imamaddin Isfahani and other great thinkers of the Middle Ages. Modern ruins include at least five ancient settlements - Erk Kala, Gyaur Kala, Sultan Kala, Abdullahan Kala and Bayramalikhan Kala. We will return back and visit the national museum of Mary city, and the local market where you can buy souvenirs. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Mary - Margush - Ashgabat
On this day of tour, we will visit Margush. See ancient kingdom in the Mary region. It was long-established by archeological dig that this kingdom happened 5 000 years ago. The people who lived there were knave of all craft, they were betrothed in farming. They also had their own written language. Consequently, the historian showed the presence of this center of ancient civilization, as well as India, Egypt, Mesopotamia and China. We will return to Ashgabat. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 6: Ashgabat - Kone Urgench - Darwaza
We will have a flight from Ashgabat to the Dashoguz region. You will be transferred to ancient Kone Urgench. It is one of the most extraordinary in the Turkmenistan. Kone Urgench dotted with architectural masterworks, including the minaret, which is one of the oldest of its kind in the world. In the primeval time it had another name - Gurganj. It was located in the Dashoguz velayat in north-western Turkmenistan, on the left bank of the former Amyderya River. Gurganj was the capital of the Khorezm region, the roots of which go back to the 6th- 7th centuries BC and the early Achaemenid period. It had very suitable position geographic location at the crossing of two main caravan routes: west to east from Europe to China and from the south to the northwest to the Volga River. We will see one of the most popular site of the Turkmenistan - Gas Crater or Gate of the Hell. You will be inspired by the stunning view of it. You will find it located in 266km to the north of Ashgabat city. Overnight is in a tent.
Day 7: Darwaza -Ashgabat
We will drive to Ashgabat. In the afternoon we will drive to Old Nisa. This tour will pass 18 km west of Ashgabat supervising the ruins of Nisa, the capital of ancient Parthia, which occurred at the turn of the 1st millennium BC and the 1st millennium AD. In the III century BC New Nisa was the capital of Parthia, and the fortress Old Nisa was the majestic residence of the time. We will visit Russian Bazaar, built in the period of 1972-1982 by the design of the Russian architect Vladimir Visotin via other buildings that were comprised in the "Ashgabat Reconstruction Program of 1970-1980." Construction was finished in Soviet Modernism style and ornamented by the Turkmen sculptor Klych Yarmamedov who revered the building with a great theoretical sculpture sited in one of the building's corners. This bazaar still prevalent and frequently visited by foreign allocations. It is worth noting that in 2001 it was rebuilt by the Turkish company Ekol, with rationalized outlets, shops and food stalls. The compound was enclosed with white marble. Day 8: Ashgabat - Jygyldyk bazaar - Seyitjemaleddin Mosque - Ashgabat
In the morning we will drive to Jygyldyk bazaar. The eastern bazaar is one of the supports of the eastern tradition. Travelers will have a chance to find everything here and learn more about local life. On the way you will see Turkmen carpets for sale. In the afternoon you will have a tour to the village of Anev to visit the mausoleum of Seyitzhemallleddin. The mosque here was erected, rendering to inscriptions on it in 1456, when Abu l Kasim Baber Bahadurkhan ruled in Khorasan (1446-1457). It was built by the vizier of Bahadurkhan Muhammad Khudaydot, who also chose the place of built - next to the grave of his father, Sheikh Jamaleddin, an innate of Anau. Prior to this, Sheikh Jamaleddin was never stated in Sufi sources of the 15th century. But academician G.A. Pugachenkova studied the writings on the face of the mosque, recommended that the vague nature of the language, the author of the lines achieved to continue her father.
