Kyrgyzstan:

Telephone
Telecommunications system is being upgraded from time to time; the country is fixing a digital network, digital radio-relay stations, and fiber-optic links. 
Fixed-line is fixated mainly in city areas; numerous mobile-cellular services has a growing coverage. Country dial code is 996; influences with other CIS countries by cable or microwave radio relay and with other nations is done by rented influences with Moscow worldwide entrance switch and by satellite; cable earth stations - 2 (1 Intersputnik, 1 Intelsat); linked collectively by the Trans-Asia-Europe.  Internet can be available in the main cities and some villages at Internet clubs.
 
Post
Post offices operate from on working days between 9:00 a.m. and 18:00 p.m on working days. The Main Post Office in Bishkek is open 7:00-19:00 and positioned on 96, Chui avenue, Tel.: 652456. Visitors can also use the post offices located in big hotels. There are a number of independent intercontinental services established in Bishkek too. They are DHL, Federal Express (FedEx), UPS, and Overseas Courier Service (OCS).
 

Media in Kyrgyzstan:
The mass media of the Kyrgyz Republic performs more freedom compared to neighbouring states in the area, and the arrangement guarantees more freedom of the press and forbids censorship.
The main TV broadcaster in the country runs two major networks and six local stations; around 20 private TV stations operating with most rebroadcasting other stations.

Money
State currency is called Kyrgyz Som. Bank notes are in values of Som 5000, 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 soms. There are coins for 10, 5, 3, 1 soms in Kyrgyzstan. You can easily change money in towns. It is possible to change them at banks and at ratified exchange offices which located in plenty in Bishkek, Osh and Issyk-Kul area. The US Dollar is the most transferable currency.  More infrequent currencies are possible to be changed in banks in Bishkek only. Small bills of US Dollar (1, 2, 5, 10, 20) have lower rate, while 50 and 100 US Dollars bills are traded in a regular rate. You can use credit  and debit cards only in Bishkek, Osh and Cholpon Ata. You can pay your bills big hotels, some big restaurants and cafes, some shops and main travel and tickets companies.  ATM can be easily found in Bishkek, Cholpon Ata and Osh.
